Meet Assistant Coach Cuviello

After a Concord playing career in which she excelled
on the field and in the classroom, Katie Cuviello
has taken her talents to the coaching ranks.

Cuviello is the Lady Lions’ Graduate Assistant,
working with head coach Stefani Workman.

In 2009, her senior season on the pitch, Cuviello finished in the top
ten in the WVIAC in assists and points, as Concord went 12-7 while
featuring one of the nation’s most prolific offenses.

Cuviello was instrumental in CU’s run to back-to-back WVIAC Tournament
Championship mathces in 2008 and 2009.

She earned 1st Team All-WVIAC honors her junior and senior seasons,
after being named an Honorable Mention as a freshman and a sophomore.

Cuviello also flourished in the classroom. She was named a Liberty Mutual
Senior Scholar Award winner in March 2010 and was a four-time member of the
WVIAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

The native of Hamilton, Ontario earned her bachelor’s degree – with honors --
in Recreation & Tourism Management from CU in May 2010. She is currently
pursuing a graduate degree in Health Promotion from Concord.

  1. Katie I really like your page. I'm glad you could add pictures because I never figured that part out. LOL!! Sounds like you excelled on and off the field when during your undergrad at Concord. Hope the rest of your season goes well.

  2. I like your page. You were able to figure out how to add more things to your page than I was able to add. I also like the schedule at the bottom of the page and the players names and numbers posted on the side.

  3. Wow! Go Kelli :) It's awesome to see real life close to home testimonies of hard work paying off. A highschool friend of mine Jill Cox-Nolan just accepted a job as a professor at Concord. Her dad Steve just retired last year or the year before as Head Basketball coach. It's a great place to be. Awesome blog!
